Why the Chisel?

Every barista knows that tamping is a crucial step. The prerequisite for perfect tamping is the even distribution of the coffee grounds before tamping. In this step  However, the ground coffee must not be compacted too much. The Chisel offers a perfect compromise between vertical (tamping) and horizontal (redistribution) movement and is the best value tool on the market with just 6% compression. The result: optimally distributed coffee grounds, loose enough for perfect tamping.

Important to know:

Even the best redistribution tool requires an acceptable initial distribution. Make sure your grinder doesn't sprinkle too much. Adjust the coffee grounds a little with your finger beforehand if necessary. This is usually not necessary if the mills are set correctly.
